Licht
Licht ist elektromagnetische Strahlung, die das
mensch-
liche Auge wahrnehmen kann. Durch Licht wird die elementare Umgebung
für den Menschen sichtbar. Das in der Umwelt vorkommende Licht
ist eine Mischung unterschiedlicher Wellenlängen. Die einzelnen
Farbbereiche des Lichtes enthalten jeweils verschiedene Farbtöne.
Die Farbskala geht von Rot über Orange, Gelb, Grün, Blau
zu Violett. Jenseits von Violett liegt das für Menschen unsichtbare
Ultraviolett, jenseits von rot liegt die als Infrarot bekannte Wärmestrahlung.
Eine der Hauptquellen des Lichtes ist die Sonne. Künstliche
Lichtquellen sind beispielsweise Glühlampen, Leuchtstoffröhren,
Leuchtdioden, Laser und chemisches Licht. |

of different wavelengths. The individual color steps of light contain
different tones. The color scale and its waves range from violet to
red, passing blue, green, yellow and orange. Wavelengths shorter than
violet are invisible for the human eye, infrared at the other end
of the scale is wellknown as heat radiation.
One of the main sources of light is the sun. Artificial sources of
light are for example lamps, fluorescent tubes, light emitting diodes,
lasers and chemical light. |
